Laboring in the obscurity he so richly deserves for over a decade now, your crusty correspondent sporadically offers his views on family, law, politics and money. Nothing herein should be taken too seriously: If you look closely, you can almost see the twinkle in Curmudgeon's eye. Or is that a cataract?

Must take today off....
Fighting -- and losing to -- a change of season cold. I don't feel humorous and I lack the strength to mount my soapbox.
My granddaughter brought home a nasty cold in early September - 2 days after she started preschool. Seven weeks later, she and her baby brother - and I - are all still fighting the after effects, a nasty lingering cough. Here's hoping your cold doesn't hang around you that long! Get well.
I took a few days off blogging this week, I think we need to recharge our batteries sometimes, for different reasons. It will be lovely to have you back soon, when you feel better. I lit my first coal fire last night, that's what I always enjoy if I have a seasonal cold.

FBS (Feel better soon) Mr. Curm
I'll fill in for Miss Bee: "Take your vitamin!!"
Have a tissue and look after yourself.
A fifth of bourbon. then you'll only have a headache tomorrow. Maybe some vomiting...and...oh never mind. Lie on the couch and watch the game.
Hope you're feeling better soon...

I am feeling pretty crappy myself today, as my sinuses are rebelling. Not only that, but a bug is going around these parts too.
So in the words of Slick Willie "I feel your pain."
