Another quick question about time

I'm leaving momentarily for court. My hearing is the last on the judge's call today -- at 9:00am. His first case was called at 7:00.

I'm guessing he'd be considered a "morning person."

*Shudder*

I am not.

I'm probably a natural second shifter, conditioned by long and sometimes bitter experience to be reasonably alert, now, by mid-morning.

What are you? A morning person? A night owl? Something in between?

And is one of these types more predominant in the Blogosphere?

In the winter when the days are shorter I am only a night person.

However I wake up with the sun. This time of year my mind clicks on a bit before six am. Since I am still up past midnight...it'd be great if I could take a siesta...but I'm not a person who can nap. (more than you wanted to know...ha)

I'm definately a day person; when the darkness falls, so do my eyelids.

I am by far a morning person....I get some of my best work done before 0900....but....being a shift worker I have to stay up all night as well....but doesn't mean I like to .....I think bloggers tend to be night owls....I have been up at weird hours myself..usually as my internal clock has gotten all screwed up from the night shift...anyhow I have been up and I have read so many bloggers talking about how they do their best work late at night...so that is what I think....

I am a night owl. I absolutely love staying up all night and not going to bed until the sun starts to come up.

Unfortunately, life has interfered with that, so now I'm more of a second shifter. Never EVER will I be a morning person.

I have never, ever woken up before 9:00 am of my own free will. I am very much a night owl. I am just starting to feel on top of my game around 2 pm.

Total night owl here. I think it comes from my days as a cocktail waitress while in college. It's hard to get up early when you don't get off work until 2:00am. After that, I just got used to staying up.

Definitely a night person, which on a farm is really rough. Sometimes we can make it work out well--I take the late night look over the cattle and load the dishwasher and clothes washer and the "day shift" can then move things along. Mostly it means I go to bed too early and get up only half awake. It has gotten better with time but mostly I htink we are the way we are.

No matter what I do I awake at 10 am - I may have been working for hours - but I wake up at 10! I crest at about 2 pm and by 5 I am finished...

Then when I start my second life job - I get a second wind at about 9 or 10 pm and could go until 2 am - which makes for a really bad morning the next day!

I have always considered sleep highly overrated and yet when I get going on sleep I can lay out for about 12 hours...

Maybe I should learn to just sleep 8 a night and avoid all the marathon days and nights...

But what fun would that be? It is the perfect ability for a MOM!

Bloggers - they are all over the scale by the way... as are emailers...

I'm probably a morning person. By 3pm I'm ready for bed...LOL!

No overwhelming pattern emerges, does it?

I used to be a day person, due my school schedule...when I'd get off work at 10pm or so, I'd get home and go straight off to bed. Now I work nights, and even on my days off, you'll find me up late into the night.
