Dona nobis pacem
We can argue about -- or, better yet, respectfully discuss -- the methods and means of achieving this... tomorrow.
For today, only a heartfelt prayer from an inhabitant of a troubled world: Grant us peace.
No. I try and avoid politics on this site, but I think I can say peace won't come to Iraq (or anywhere else in the Middle East) any time soon no matter which party prevails in today's U.S. elections. But I can hope for peace. And I can pray for peace. And that's what I'm doing.
