Welcome to this week's edition Heads or Tails, the Tuesday meme brought to you by Barb, of all things Skittles, who always encourages participants to think outside the box.
And today's topic is box.
A box is a thing your little kid plays with, ignoring the expensive and/or educational toy inside.
A box is the thing you're always telling the kids they're going to have to live in if they keep leaving the lights on. (You think we're made of money? You keep leaving the lights on and we won't be able to pay our electric bill. We'll have to live in a box under the viaduct.)
A box is the thing you put stuff in that you're not quite ready to throw out but can no longer stand to look at.
No matter how long ago you moved in, one box still remains unpacked. If you unpack it, you'll have to move again.
If you have two boxes, and you need something from one of them, it's in the other box. No matter which box you search through first.
If you have a stack of boxes, and you need something from one of them, that thing is in the box on the bottom of the stack.
A box of old junk can be like a bottle of fine wine: Practically garbage when it is first stored... but years later it may yield a treasure.

OOOOOH, this is all so true. Never fails if you want something in a box, it's at the bottom!!

I have been going through boxes for the past 2 months.
My blog today deals with this situation.

I was smiling and nodding at each thing you listed!
Very profound! :)
I enjoyed all the ‘box’ references in your HoTs post. I don’t eat fast-food as a general rule any more … but I don’t think you’re missing much never having eaten at Jack-in-the-Box … seriously. I’ve tried Tai Chi, but never kick-boxing.
Hugs and blessings,
