Just a quick hello this morning

This from this morning's post by Ken Levine:
I plan on being the only blog on the internet not to do a Keith Richards snorting his father joke. I know it may cost me a coveted Weblog nomination but I’m going to take the high road on this one.
Sorry, Mr. Levine, but I'm not trying one here either -- the eeeeeeewwwwww quotient of this entire sordid story overwhelms any joke I could think of -- and any passing references to the story I may have left in comments elsewhere do not count.

-----------------------------------------------------------

This is a picture of the coyote captured in downtown Chicago this week. (The photo was obtained from the Chicago Tribune).

Now this all took place at the other end of the Loop from my current Undisclosed Location -- but about equidistant between my two previous addresses. The Quiznos -- where the coyote stopped for lunch -- is on the ground floor of the parking garage at the corner of Adams and Wabash. I've never been in there; it opened after I moved. There's plenty of video of the incident still available on line this morning.

I'm working this morning, not blogging -- well, I'm blogging now, but only to explain that I don't have time today to blog because I have a lot of work to do -- oh, never mind. More and better (I hope) later -- but I may have limited time here in the next few days with Easter upon us.

I'll talk about Keith today, but that's it. There's a little more to the story than you heard.

Also, we have a lot of coyotes here - when we go visit my father in law (who lives on the west side of the valley) the coyotes roam the golf courses! They walk around everyone's homes out there because no one has a backyard fence so we have to watch our dog when he goes outside, he's so small he's definately coyote bait.

You are right about the limited time. Did you hear about the English girl blogging at work based in Paris who lost her job, but has just won her case for unfair dismissal? I've written about it, I might interest your readers.

I h ope you are beginning to feel better after your operation. Take it easy, and have a happy Easter.

After the Keith Richards incident, more people will probably want to be buried!

I shredded los of papers today.

There has GOT to be a better way to get rid of all those old checks from old checking accounts one no longer uses....

...and no I don't have a fireplace.

How are you doing, besides busy working?

I saw this coyote incident on The Today Show and I felt rather bad for the fellow as, there he was, sitting peacefully on top of the Snapples in the cooler when some guy with a noose comes in and drags him out by the neck! How rude!!

Of course my biggest question was how on earth a coyote ended up in downtown Chicago to begin with, never mind hanging out at the local Quiznos!

I thought the whole Richards story was disgusting. Did they set the coyote free I hope?

I've blogged before about not being able to blog :)

A coyote in Chicago? That takes some imagining. Where did the poor guy come from? Where will they take him?

Found your site through Shelby. I am in Chicago too (undisclosed location). I hadn't heard about the coyote--don't get the tribune. I knew they had been sighted hear lately. Thanks for spreading the news.

Happy Easter! Hope you're feeling well.

Why the big deal about the coyote? In Arizona, they're all over the place. Is Chicago that urbanized, even at the outskirts?

Once we had a deer in the city and it ran into a furniture store. Poor frightened thing did some serious damage. Wonder who the furniture store sued for damages?

Happy Easter! It has come and gone with a great time at our house. I hope everything went well and all had a happy time with you.

Come on over and join our little bit of fun.

Have a FANTASTIC DAY!
