Coming distractions

I've not visited as many sites as I'd like during the week and I've lurked more than usual when I have visited. Sorry.

I'm trying to play catch-up a little with work. And I really should focus on that for a while.

And I'm supposed to start a trial next Friday. It will be interesting to see if I can handle the physical demands of trying a case right now -- I can blog readily enough (if not always lucidly) -- but to be in the well of the courtroom, looking (and actually being) attentive, popping up and down as ceremony (and objections) may require, without excusing myself every couple of hours....

Well, we'll just have to see about that, won't we?

I'm sure I won't go "dark" here -- I may even post again today (my addiction is that overwhelming) -- but for this morning... must try to concentrate on work.

Must keep trying....

fellow blogaholics understand your addiction, but also your need to focus on your work.
just list which blogs you have been lurking around on so we know.

Can't you blog while in the courtroom?

Ah, good luck with the work thing! I am having the same struggles these days. Blogging is just more fruitful, interesting and fun!!!

Hope all goes well with your trial.

Off Topic -

I have received the following message when attempting to access "The Bestest Blog of All-Time:

"This blog is under review due to possible Blogger Terms of Service violations and is open to authors only".

I read the (very ambiguous) TOS and cannot see how Bobby is in violation of them.

He hadn't posted anything for the past two weeks.

After reading several of your stories about bills and money flow - thinking about focusing on work might be something to consider - but do not rush into things too fast - spring is here in Southern Ohio and I am going to spend the day in the garden...

Hope your attempt at being fruitful was successful.

I have not been blogging because I keep getting the boot off the internet! angry woman here...

I understand the lurking part lately, I've been doing some myself as my stupid back issues have been distracting me. Amongst other things! But if I miss a day of reading anyone's blogs, I feel like I've missed an episode of some TV show I've been watching!

Good luck with the work thing; our IT guy at work put his foot down on blogging at work so I am forced to concentrate on the job ... grumble! grumble!

I was thinking about you just yesterday. A wee virus has laid me low for 6 weeks and I was thinking How can Cur be up and doing all that stuff after major surgery?! Please look after yourself. I know it's not easy.

PS Did you take your vitamin today? I bet youare going to regret ever having said that in Blogville.

Take it easy on the return to the courtroom.

There are more important things to life than work*.

Like blogging ;-)

*If only companies sending out the bills would acknowledge this....

I like Jean-Luc's idea about blogging in the courtroom. Do they have wireless Internet?

yeah - you can blog in the courtroom :)

kidding, really.

Hope your week is fantastic!

p.s. I do apologize for the VERY long comment I left a while back. I was high on "oralargumentism." I'm now in "rehabtilexamweekism" mode now. So I'm more restrained and have better manners. :)

Thanks for letting us know. I always worry when bloggers just stop posting for several days, and even several months, without a word of warning, and ignoring all comments posted showing concern about their absence.

Good luck with the trial, I have just posted about blood money paid in trials, by the way.

I must say, I love Sari's comment -FOR the Love of Pete! That's one of my favorite expressions of exclamation.
