Two favorites coincide

Today is my favorite Feast Day on the Church calendar -- the Feast of All Souls. It's the most, shall we say, democratic.

You're not likely to be a Saint; chances are you'll never even meet one. But... we've all got souls. Today, therefore, is for all of us.

Cue Sam and Dave....

And my other favorite?

Daylight savings time ends this weekend in the United States. It's not that I'm happy to see that end, it's just that -- this weekend -- we get an extra hour.

I only wish we got bonus hours more often.

How will you use yours?

Regrettably, I'm one of those guys who sleeps until he wakes up. Usually early. The damned clock has nothing to do with it, and I am envious of everyone who will get to sleep in.

in Arizona there is no savings time. Just another day.

I'm sure I'll sleep right through that extra hour. Of course it doesn't fall on a night when I really could have used it (like the next night when I only get 8 hours in between shifts)! I'm just glad I'm not the one stuck working the overnight shift and has to watch it be 2:00 a.m. twice! I always hated that!

Sam and Dave rock!

Yes, we have no time change. I think I probably was (still) feeding the baby so I wouldn't have noticed if we did have an extra hour!
