Yes, we want you back real soon!
Glad we were able to make you smile for a little while! Still keeping you uppermost in my thoughts for a successful surgery and recovery!
Hey,
Before you go, is there any chance that you could set up a webcam in the theatre to record your glorious event and place it on your blog? I’m sure it wouldn’t be TOO much trouble attaching it to the articulated overhead lighting equipment. Watching the outcome as a premiere for your regular blog readers could be free of charge. Once you have an established audience, say, after 2 weeks, you could start charging pay per view.
Don't forget. If the hospital refuses, you could always call in Dr. Anonymous to be your Director of webcam theatrical operations.
Regards,
Coral
Glad we have provided some comfort and smiles! Thanks for taking the time to comment on my site, it meant a lot.
My fingers and toes are crossed for the upcoming weeks!
I'm glad to see you back blogging a little bit. We miss you!
May the comfort surround you and smiles carry you to full health!
I second the webcam idea. But since you are anonymous... hmmm. better not follow that train of thought.
best wishes for an EASY recovery successful surgery! thinking of you.
Consider this a little belated comfort, I swear to god I'll be on time for something someday. Wishing you a speedy recovery, pr protracted if it might buy you a bit of rest. I won't tell if you don't.
in my life circles there are several battles with cancer being waged.... my mom was an engraved paperweight which says:
"He who laughs.... lasts"
however...I'm gonna vote no on the webcam...smile
be blessed.
Will be thinking of you. {{HUGS}} to you and your family.
I hope things are going well for you. Sorry I haven't been able to get here as often as I like. Take good care of you and do what the Dr.s and LSS tells you :-)
I'm here from CMHL. Focusing a quick and successful recovery all over you. Hurry back.
Monty
You'll pull through and recover, I have several friends without a Colon. Being immobilized for several weeks may be a problem.
I'm looking forward to your next post! I enjoy reading them!

Thinking of you, Curmudgeon.
Coral is someone you don't want on your bad side - funny stuff. Something to read before and not after stitches.
You've been on my calendar and indeed in my prayers...
~~~Blessings~~~
Found my way to your blog through a post on Sari's...
My best friend had this surgery many years ago (as has most of her family - she has a genetic condition (familial adenomatous polyposis) that causes cancerous polyps in her intenstines.) She lives a full, active, normal life despite not having a colon.
All the best to you for your surgery and a quick recovery!
Dear Curmudgeon,
I also found my way to your blog through a post on Sari's (The Geek Inside) and started reading it this morning. BTW, I was LOL. ;-)
(wink, wink)
There are a lot of young types in the blogosphere. But I'm not one of them. Kinda like you.
I wish you all the best with your surgery today and with your recuperation.
Prayers and thoughts are with you. Hope you have a fast recovery!
Curmudgeon - I have a magic wand at my site for you. Use it as you will. You are in my prayers.
Still saying prayers and hoping your surgery went well and we see you again soon!!
I'm with Sari. I am thinking about you and hope all is well.
Saying a prayer.
