Not only was he hurt, he was spooked for most of the season because he was afraid he was going to be hit again. I can't imagine how it would have been had the boy thrown the ball at 40mph, we would have had a much more serious situation on our hands.

Parents constantly amaze (not surprise) me.sarihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16144333694009700155noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19673259.post-91117108028423559252008-08-27T16:35:00.000-05:002008-08-27T16:35:00.000-05:00Living near New Haven, this story keeps on giving....Living near New Haven, this story keeps on giving. It seems that Jericho would have started if he was a member of the 'right' team.

Not all finesse occurs on the playing field - the rigging of rosters might be a common event...

Jericho's parents have met with John Williams, a seriously big-time and media savvy New Haven lawyer. When I was in fourth grade it was suggested that my mom move me up a grade and she said no because she didn't want me to be the youngest kid in my class. What kind of reasoning is that? I ended up a lazy student because I didn't have to work that hard. Not good habits to establish for college. I'm all for challenging our kids.SQThttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04251030404220909306noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19673259.post-72239193727979773622008-08-26T14:11:00.000-05:002008-08-26T14:11:00.000-05:00It's always wise to move up to where they are test...It's always wise to move up to where they are tested.Jean-Luc Picardhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01689798190618944262noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19673259.post-18527298101783650972008-08-26T13:59:00.000-05:002008-08-26T13:59:00.000-05:00Curmudgeon -You did a much better job on this stor...Curmudgeon -

You did a much better job on this story than I did.
