You know...A lovely thought for the day Curmudgeon!

You know what I've been wondering for a while now? Why don't Catholics (or all Christians for that matter) celebrate/observe Jewish holidays or holy days?

They're part of our religion as well. I distinctly remember Freshman year of my all-girl Catholic high school (yes I remember that far back!) Sister Regina Claire taught us all about the Old Testament where all these events our Jewish brethren obseve are described.Hildahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02606429468531084214noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19673259.post-81544451182828167422007-09-13T12:15:00.000-05:002007-09-13T12:15:00.000-05:00Like one big family, eh? What family do you know that gets along all the time? :-)

If your goal is that is that folk of different religious beliefs get along and live in peace, might I suggest that the different religions be more like different divisions under one big corporate umbrella (a.k.a the many children of Abraham). Coworkers are much more civil to each other than siblings are.TroyBoyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01243592284623781885noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19673259.post-75897095131863153362007-09-13T10:56:00.000-05:002007-09-13T10:56:00.000-05:00Everyone getting along, peacefully, being tolerant...Everyone getting along, peacefully, being tolerant?

That's just crazy talk you big dreamer you.Lahdeedahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08310770349703287189noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-19673259.post-70612586964995898382007-09-13T09:24:00.000-05:002007-09-13T09:24:00.000-05:00AMEN!!!
